The fourth Tapa Tapa ‘Xiringuito” is opening at the Barceloneta beach. It features interior design changes, with an updated look that is fresh and summery, and the menu contains new dishes with surprising flavours, including new types of tapas and ‘montaditos’ .

The new menu offers over 60 tapas, such as the classic prawn and crab salad montadito and the mixed montadito selection, as well as seasonal salads: seafood salad with citrus vinaigrette and the classic tomato salad with ventresca tuna.

There is no shortage of favourites such as freshly made tortilla and the famous trio of mini-hamburgers. Special novelties include delicious fried green tomatoes with Camembert, and the Barceloneta ‘bomba’ (a fried meat and potato ball) that was created and has become an iconic tapa in the Barceloneta quarter.

The menu is completed with seafood tapas, such as grilled mussels, fresh red shrimp from Palamós, fried squid rings and the choice of four rice specialities: seafood fideuà (made from thin noodles), fisherman’s rice (arroz a banda) with crayfish broth, fish and seafood paella, and lobster paella.

The new Tapa Tapa restaurant has an exceptional beachfront terrace, opposite the intriguing glass and steel sculpture by Rebecca Horn called ‘La estrella Herida’ (the wounded star).
